On October 13th 2011, “Just Like My Child” held their annual Gala at El Cortez down town San Diego. Dr Smotrich, known as the donor of ” The Smotrich Kitchen”, was one of the speakers of the evening. The goal for the evening was to raise enough money to put 750 families in the “dairy” business through their partnership with Heifer International in Uganda. An amazing evening with a total of 225,000 dollars raised.
